Flights of Fancy

Good morning, and welcome back. I’m here once again to share a story I wrote some years back. This one is about a tiny desert community populated by colorful characters who don’t believe in living in the mainstream. I was at loose ends about what story to post this week, and was considering rolling some dice, but then a strange thing happened yesterday.

I became interested in writing the long-awaited sequel to this. In fact, I sat down and wrote an intro and an epilog, at least to the story that presented itself to me. Will it get written? That I can’t know in advance, but I can tell you that what I have in mind is a doozy, and will put this series right back on the front burner… should it come together.
