Last Wednesday I posted about the handful of post-navy years I enjoyed, much of that time spent in and around Ocean Beach, California. Years later I wrote a story based in OB, a town whose name I changed to Sunset Beach. The story, Safe Haven, was supposed to be the beginning of a series. That never materialized, but it could yet, and as I promised in Wednesday’s post, I am sharing it today to offer some of the flavor of that wonderful time and place, and also to showcase what a brilliant, fantastic writer I used to be. Yep, a true legend in my own mind!
The story can be found in the new tab, Flashes, in the upper left. Won’t be hard to find, as it’s the only one there right now. Enjoy it with my blessing!
